The "Magm'axe" (Magma + Axe) is primarily constructed from floor mat EVA foam along with PVC pipe, vinyl, and a hacked flashlight. The inspiration for the design was found online and patterned in Inkscape. The center portion of the blade houses the LEDs necessary for the "boiler" to glow and can be removed to replace the batteries. After construction, the piece was primed and painted with acrylics.
